i've asked this before a while back with not much response.
How do you fit your appointments and scans around work? Do your bosses know? What do you tell them? etc

So worried what I am going to do as I work 9-5 and no idea how to get out for appointments

xx

Hi hun..

My boss knows but I have a lady boss and she is very sympathetic.

Not all bosses are like this and some may see it that you just want to leave and have a baby and then limit your career growth..

You could say that you have a medical issue that u r dealing with, that you will need to go for tests etc... nothing to worry about.. but you will need time off... and just leave it at that.. just say you will also work the time in and try and schedule the appointments for early morning. lunchtime or late afternoon.

You do have a medical issue and u dont have to tell them the details....

Good luck hun

xxxx:hug:

thanks tanya. my boss is a bloke and everyone is worried i will be leaving soon to have a baby as everyone else is either a lot older or already on pregnancy leave. so they are all on high alert and any time i go to the doctors they are already suspicious.
Two women are on maternity and one has just come back, and as we got married last year they know the inevitable. But I want to have some secrets.......

you must do what feels right hun... but u really dont have to tell them... but if u think your boss is open to it.. then tell him.. not to sound harsh but when we have infertilty it can take a long time to fall pregnant...thats what i tell my boss.. it might happen tomorrow,.. it might happen in 5 years..
