Does anyone have LO, work in public sector and do some form of flexible working? If so will you tell me what you do. I currently work full time. I don't want my pay to reduce to p/t hours as I want to apply for a bigger mortgage next spring...... WOndering about ways to best maximise wage alongside flexibility...

Anyone?

Sorry, alio.
I supplement my income by taking on writing and performing contracts. Does your mortgage look just at employee income, or will they also take into account this sort of self-employed money? It's not regular, is the biggest problem, I think.

when i worked as actor / writer i had a self certification mortgage but due to credit crunch they have stopped them. consequently, it's solely down to formal income which is a bugger.....

thanks though chum
