Flu Jab - are you going to have it?

Hi girls

Feeling very sorry for myself, have been poorly for about a week been back to docs and have a chest infection combined with flu.

I have been told I will need the flu jab once i have got over this bout - is anyone else having it.

Its now recommended highly in pregnancy I believe !

I've been debating this one too... last time I got it shortly before having the m/c, which I know wasn't the cause, but it still chills me a bit. I know it's definitely recommended, both for regular flu and hamthrax. I heard they have a combination jab now? I'll be discussing this further with my doctor at my next appointment. Curious what others are doing... (and hope you're feeling better soon, fluffyblue)

I have been to-ing and fro-ing on this one too - I always do have it as I am asthmatic and the flu just wipes me out completely ( I'm on steroids if I get the flu ) and I work in a big office where the sickness policy really drives people to come in when they are sick ( and spread it around!! ) - I probably will - will discuss it with my MW when I see her on Friday.

Not sure about the swine flu jab tho - I had it last year ( after my mc - thankfully or I might have been blaming it on the jab if it had been before ) but am not sure about this year - you hear so many scare stories about it!!

Hi, I had the swine flu jag at 11 weeks. Did not hesitate.....it's been thoroughly tested and I am now 20 weeks and fine....bloody sore arm...swelling was quite something!!
