fluid cyst near baby on ultrasound

what is it? is something wrong with the baby? they said the babys doing fine but why is there a cyst then? the cyst is clear fluid and located near the head. has anyone had this and is it normal? im 8 weeks btw

I haven't had one myself but know someone who did and the cyst resolved itself. I don't remember what they said caused it but no one seemed to concerned about it at the doctor's office at the time.

I had one with my last one. They just develop for no known reason sometimes. Mine resolved on its own. I'm sure it's nothing to be too concerned about.

I had a cyst on the baby's umbilical cord at my 13 week scan. By the 20th week, it was gone. My OB had told me that they usually resolve on their own. Good luck.
