Fluid leaking down my legs *sorry TMI*

I woke up this morning and went to the toilet and then went down stairs to let the dogs out. As I was in the kitchen I could feel fluid leaking down my legs all of a sudden. It wasn't like a gush but it was enough for me to notice it and see it.

I felt it and looked at my fingers and it looked just like a clear liquid on my fingers, almost like wee but clear and didn't smell.

Is this likely to be just a discharge leak or can your waters leak as it was clear and not cloudy like discharge usually is?

ive had this quite alot and i presume its either wee ( gross i know ) or just more discharge...

It could be your waters leaking, might be worth phoning your midwife to get checked out.

Thanks all! I called the midwife and she told me to monitor it for the next hour and then call her back regardless of the outcome. We'll see what happens from here!

I read somewhere else on here that if its your waters it feels oily if you rub it between your fingers. Hope all goes ok hun xx

to be sure its your waters, put a pad on and lie down for an hour if its damp 9 times out of 10 it confirms if its your waters thats what my maternity unit told me to do ...fx'd for you xx

i had this when went in2 labour with DS , my waters just started trickling out arnd 6am by 1pm he was born..but had to have waters broke in hospital..but contractions also started at same time as trickle....

but i also get on this pregnancy & am at same stage as you urine leaking when get up in morning tiny bit but get it every few days...confusing i know but keep eye on it if continues thru day then u know u have to contact MW even without pain...

ive been having the same thing happen! its happend to me more than once and i told my midwife yesterday about it and she wasnt concerned at all. said to call if its a large amount. i think any amount should be checked!

It's poss your waters hun. I had the same with dd - my waters were leaking slowly and I didn't think it was!! I went in and they did a test to see if it was. Anyway it was and they induced me that night! Omg your little girl could soon be here xx
