FOB being selfish?

I phoned the FOB up asking him does he want to know the baby.. *sigh* all i got was a i don't know... so then i asked him if he wants to see a 12 week 4 day baby i got... "no cause you put it like that." WTF! i just wanted to cry
The last thing did it for me, i asked him if he wants to come to my next hospital appointment, he said if I've got the money so me being me (wish i never said it :/ and the fact i'm getting used again...) said i would pay for him to come and go home. :/

is it right that i should have to pay for him to come? :/ maybe i should take the hint when he said that if i keep this baby he wouldn't want to be involved as much. *sigh*
I messaged his family which i don't think is right getting them involved, he should want to know and not have them making sure he does come with me. :/

If he actually wanted to be involved, and seemed excited about the whole pregnancy, i would have said that its a lovely thing for you to do, paying for him to get there and back.

However, since he seems to being a bit of a twat at the moment, id say he should make his own way there and actually prove he wants to be involved, and you shouldnt help him.

I wouldnt bother contacting him anymore, and then you'll get a good idea of how interested he actually is. But thats just what id do. I had a similar problem, i asked FOB if he wanted to go to my 12 week scan and all i got was a 'no', so since then ive not bothered to involve him, if he wants to be involved he can make some effort.

I think hes being a pig. he cant give u a straight answer and is using u. Sorry to be so blunt but why should u pay for him to get there, u have a baby to save for chick.

he lives in watford aswell :/ so i have to get a train to go and get him as i live in west london....

oh please dont pay for him! He should want to come! Id tell him you cannot and that if hes not interested to tell you and you should plan to sort things out alone and get ready for the baby. NO reason for you to go and get him and take him back and pay etc. x

I'm sorry to hear you're in this situation. I agree about not paying for him. He should be showing you that he wants to be involved.
