hello other single mummies

Think i have posted something similar here before but is still troubling me so just after opinions really. My ex and i split in Jan when he went off with the OW (she's welcome to him) i was 6 weeks pregnant with DD2. he had no involvement with the pregnancy, didnt even ask after her when she was born. didnt even find out her name until she was about 8 weeks old.

he has since then spent a whopping 30mins with her at my home after i pushed him into trying to start a bond. He then emailed to say he wanted to take her out by himself as it was too awkward coming to my house.

we have our own agreement of contact with our eldest DD, he keeps saying he is going to go to court to get an order for whatever contact he wants just for his peace of mind. he has been saying this for months now and brings it up everytime he doesnt get his own way to try and bully me into doing what he wants. So when i said he couldnt take DD2 off his own he said ok he'll just add her name to the contact order so he can have her when he wants. That was several weeks ago and he hasnt seen or even asked after her since

They have no bond whatsoever!! will that be taken into account *if* he actually follows through and takes me to court?

what would be a reasonable age that a baby could be taken away from mum by fob? im dreading it but know it will happen eventually

Don't let him take her. He can't do so without your permission and you don't have to let him

There is no way someone who hasn't even bothered should be allowed to take a child alone and not one so young. Trust needs to be built up.

I wouldn't let my LO go anywhere with someone she hardly knows and has no bond with.
Wouldn't worry. Even if he tries to go threw court, 1 it'll take a while and 2 she's still really young.
You have plenty against him.
Most he'd get would be at a contact centre so he wouldn't actually gain anything.

He won't get anything, maybe a contact centre. Don't worry at all, the ball is FIRMLY in your court :)
