I am an absolute idiot! FOB rang me before an was askin to come to the scan im stickin to my words an saying no (as FOB threatened me a month ago saying he was going to turn up to the scan and basically kick the living **** out of me) so obviously i said no, he was saying he was sorry and all that an what did i go and do, open my big mouth an say the time of scan coz he asked, not thinking i told him an now hes saying il see u in the morning he just wants to be there an stuff but i really dont wanna see him! My dad was meant to be coming to the scan an i dont want dad to see him either im really srewed up now because hes going to turn up... He hasnt got a phone atm so i cant ring him and tell him not to come so i have no way of contact, ive messaged him on facebook and told him i dont want him there but i dont no if he'l get it because he doesnt have internet grrrrrrrr im such a fool! Fed up off all this hassle now, wish things would be simple!! x

Oh honey I'm sorry.

Is there anyway you can get to the appointment early and talk to the staff there and tell them you in no way want your FOB to be present at the ultrasound? See if you can get moved out of the waiting room and wait in another room so he doesn't see you? The staff at the office should be very understanding.

I think he's going to turn up early too, have a feeling he did at the first one.. An then he'l be waitin outside for me after or something.. Just wish everything would just be simple and i wouldn't have to faff about x

maybe change your scan time til the afternoon?
he can't rightly wait out there all day can he?
i'm sure if you call in and explain the situation they will be able to help you somehow.

I feel your pain, FOB did this to me as well. Although he went and spoke to my mom, who at the time wasn't aware of the threats he made. He showed up, was at the scan, and then had the balls to ask for a lift home! I told my mom to leave him there, but of course she didn't listen.
Anyway, after that I spoke to my MW and told the office staff what was going on and requested that if he was to show up there again that they call the police since he'd made threats on my family's lives.

I would highly suggest talking to your doctor and explaining to them that he's made threats against you and the baby and that they're not to let him near you while you're under their care. And bring another adult with you just in case. (hell, if you need to, just pick the biggest, scariest looking bloke off the street! )

Had the scan today and he turned up! My dad didn't come with me today my best friend (bub's godmother to-be) came and she stuck up for me and kicked off He was like oh im coming into the scan but i wouldnt let him, me and my friend walked off into another waiting room and he didn't know then we snook out the back door after the scan haha was like something out of james bond!
After the scan we went into town an he must of followed us with his girlfriend and she started mouthing off outside claires accesories, was soooo embarrasing! I just walked into the shop and ignored them whilst my friend stuck up for me bless her So all in all pretty stressful morning him turning up but least i found out im on team pink xxxx

OP, Rjb, Ally, me...then look at Vinteenage and she's having a boy and her fob is still happily with her.

OP, Rjb, Ally, me...then look at Vinteenage and she's having a boy and her fob is still happily with her.

I think it's because boys might need a man figuire for football etc so us girls with bad FOB's get the little girls If that makes any sense? x

Hes comming 20 and Im 19 and he is starting to grow up thankfully it's about time though, and I would never fully rely on him or any man in that case as I want to be as independent as possible, I also have great family aand friends that do too much for me and have been spoiling my little man rotten.

Im really glad you have great support too and hopefully your FOB will man up to trying to be a dad and facing the responsibility as a Man and a Father!
