Folate tablets?

I am anaemic and have to take 210mg ferrous fermate twice a day, and I was on 1mg folate, but my old doctor has left and now I have a new one and I told her me and my fiancé were planning on trying in the near future for a baby. When I read my prescription I noticed she had upped it to 5mg folate..

So I'm just wondering if it is safe to take this dose of folate whilst trying to conceive?
