Has anyone changed to this or stayed with the same milk? If you have changed, is it something you just did, or slowly phased in?
I am going to start weaning in the next week or so and was just wanting some advice regarding milk.

I changed when Emma was 6 months - introduced it one bottle a day. Didn't have any problems! Hope you have a smooth transition too.

I just changed as soon as I started weaning. As long as you use the same make it doesn't matter. I even still use the number 1 formula if I run out of follow on. Its up to you. No hard or fast rules. Your baby may still want number 1 as they are not eating enough food to get all the nutrients they need. If they have a big appetite then change if not then stick with number 1.

I changed 1 wk before he was 8 mnths old. He was off his formula, so I gave follow on a try & it went much better than the old one xx

I havn't changed him over and have no plans to lol.

We had a few problems when he was born with having to change milk etc and I don't want to risk messing that up again by changing his formula again because follow on milk has added iron and we had problems with constipation on sma etc lol

I asked my HV about follow-on milks and she said there's no difference between them and the stage one milks. She said it's best to stay with the stage 1 though as they have more nutrients than the follow on's
