I've asked this before but I can't find my thread! My LO is 7+ months now and so could have follow on milk. Someone on here said it wasn't necessary to switch but does it matter if you do? They had no first milk in Tesco today so I bought that instead. There isn't anything wrong with it is there? Sorry, dumb question I know!

Also, I think they discount the follow on milk during some baby events so I could save myself some pennies if I can use that!

I switched when my LO was 6 mths, I think it just has less nutrients than the first milk as most babies are weaned at this stage so are getting nutrients from food :)

the only differences are it has more slightly iron and you get boots points - no brainer for me! :happydance: my babies didn't notice the change at all when i changed from aptamil 1 to 3.

I switched Isabelle at from comfort to cow and gate follow on 6 months, shes never noticed a change :). My purse has noticed though and my boots advantage card lol

Do you get 10 points per pound on milk in Boots (as a member of the parenting club) or is somehow excluded?
