Hi

I was always told a date for all my sections. No choice available I'm afraid to say. All orignal dtaes where for the day exactly 39 weeks fell on. Though on two occasions there were many emergency, when I had wait until the following day. One time, I was just about to have an epidural, when they told me "Sorry, you are going to have to wait. Lady/baby life or death....move aside basically. Hope you get the date you would like though.....be nice :)

I'm prepared that there may possibly be an Emergancy, and that's very understandable. Just can't wait to have my LO though obviously when she's fully cooked :flower:

I didn't get a choice and when I got booked it was supposed to be for 39 weeks but they were so busy it wasn't until 40 weeks they could fit me in. My LO decided to come 37+5 herself tho so ended up with ELCS. Good luck and hope you get the date you want x
