Ha ha so true. We played kirby n knocky door neighbour, blocker, and went out til tea time. We got scruffy we had fun and we had "real" friends not ones we add cos they know our goldfishes auntys cat!

Yes me and my brothers loved doing that. I remember one year that was really windy it was great fun!

Yep all true here. I was born in 1983 and I wish my kids will have a childhood as care free as mine. They won't though, the word seems much more cruel these days.

At least in the US... we are safer than ever. It's just perception that says our kids are in more danger.

So I hope to let my kids have the same mid-70's upbringing that I got.
