OK so as the thread goes. I am in a position where I want to store stuff in the loft as am persuading hubby (on a daily basis) to have another one in a year or two's time. I have two moses baskets and now harry is in his cot would like to store these in the loft. I have been trawling the internet and have found this:

https://www.wendyanne.com/_product_46491/Moses_Basket_Storage_Bag

But can't seem to find one in the UK.

So my question is how did you store your stuff - also any other storage saving tips would be most welcome. Also if you know where I can find storage bags for moses baskets please put me in the right direction, thank you mummies xxxx

can you not get the vacuum bags in a huge size chicky?

Thats fab on that link though xxx

Everything I stored previously either went into plastic storage boxes or old suitcase (clothes) or just in card board boxes (toys) Moses basket went into two bin bags, one either end and then taped in the middle. Same with pram and car seat. Cot went up just dismantled. Everything came out fine and was just washed before re-using!

I just used black bags or the big things. I took off the covers etc and stored those elsewhere. I used to store all lo's clothes in the pampers boxes! Everything came out of storage just needing a freshen up and now being used on my 2nd son x

We've been using Vacuum bags. We got a few mixed sized packets in wikos for a few pounds! The Large ones are great for cot quilts/blankets.

I store everything in empty diaper boxes :haha: I don't use the kids' closets for much, so I box up the clothes and label what size clothes are in the box and then put it on the top shelf of their closet. Shoes, hats, coats, toys, bottles... everything was stored in diaper boxes.

The larger items (swing, bouncey chair, bassinet, etc) were wrapped with black garbage bags and set out in our shed. Wasn't too worried about it, I knew I was going to wash everything up again for the next baby anyway. I'm doing the same this time (I'm also working on convincing my husband that we need 'just one more' baby. :haha: Not sure if its working or not... but if he doesn't hurry up with that vasectomy, I have a feeling it won't be long and he won't have a choice.)
