Forced AF question!

Hello ladies. so i have been taking some med's (forgot the name) it was 1 pill for 10 days. i just finished my 10th pill. and nothing, and it doesnt really feel like anything is coming? i tried calling the FS, left a message and still no answer back. should i have expected it within those 10 days or do i have to wait?

i took prometrium for 10 days and it took 3 for AF to arrive. i would call again if you havent see in a week.

Sounds like you probably took Provera or Prometrium. I usually start anywhere from 2-5 days after the last pill but I have read it can take up to two weeks.

Thanks ladies!! Good to know, it feels like it will never come haha, and thing is I called and no one even called back to answer my question at the office! Annoys me a little. But thanks again!

just re read my post and it was confusing lol. i mean i started 3 days after i finished the pills, not on dday 3 of the pillls.

I've taken norethisterone a few times to force AF and I always start 2 or 3 days after I've taken my last pill, but it can take up to 2 weeks.

The FS should really have explained this to you, but you will never start AF while you are actually taking the pills (in fact they actually give them to women to delay AF while they have an operation etc). The pills contain progesterone and stopping the pills makes your progesterone levels drop suddenly which triggers AF.

thanks, i wish i knew i waited a week bofore taking it thinkin it would come within a few pills so that i could do the testing on a good work week for me, now i think the is here and it falls on some bad weeks for taking time off ..oh well thanks ladies!
