Formula can left open

My OH made a bottle and left the lid off the formula can, and it's been about three hours. Is it safe to keep using it? It's the powder kind.

I would guess so as it isn't sterile anyway. Is there much left in it? I would definitly make the bottles up with water over 70 degrees whilst using the powder though personally x

Yes because it's unsterile and it's the hot water you use to mix that sterilises it anyway x

Yes the powder should be fine. If it were the ready to feed kind I'd say no but you should be ok with the powder.
