formula question?

how much does or did your LO eat at 11 weeks . My lttle boy often has 25 ozs over the day in 5 bottles and weighs about 11.5lbs. Is this enough. He used to eat loads when he was younger but has remained at this amount for about the last month?

I'd say this is normal. My LO has taken 5oz in 6 bottles a day (30oz in total) since 8 weeks old. She is now 18 weeks and has only just starting to go up to 6oz/6 bottles a day. She has been putting weight on great. She was 7lbs 15oz at birth. She was breast fed for 1st 6 weeks exclusively then combi fed til 11 weeks and the formula fed full time since then. At 11 weeks she was 13lbs 10 oz and continued to put on weight fine, despite not increasing her formula intake. She is now a healthy 16lbs (give or take a few oz).

So I'd say your LO is perfectly fine xxx

Not sure how much my 11 week old weighs but he is having around 7, 5-6 oz bottles in 24 hrs

my baby has 5 6oz bottles a day sometimes she'll only have 4 if she sleeps through until 10am like she did today, lazy baby! she weighs 12lbs 3oz now. im pretty sure its fine as long as your LO is putting on weight and is regular with feeds i'd say its okay.x

I think as long as lo is putting weight on and taking in milk they will know when they have had enough. It really is like us as adults, some of us have little appetites others have big appetites. I have the opposite prob, my little man is currently on 6 9oz bottles of formula and baby rice 1xdaily, he is 19 weeks though! He is a hungry little man!!

holey cow lol mine takes 2oz of breast milk or 3oz of formula every 2 hours till 9pm then she goes till 2am then 5am then back to every 2 hours
