Heya ladies.. ok so i have a question...

Kent is going to be a year old next month. Recently he has been ill and throwing up alot. He was only on formula for a while and so we thought it was that ( we had just got some more formula and thought i was a bad batch or something)
He was being hella sick with it and projectiling. So we took him off of that and put him on a different one. He was alright for a day or so and then has been a little sick since then every now and again. We took him completely off formula and have just been giving him solid foods and juice.

He was sick again last night but i think it was because he has wind and got him self so worked up he made himself sick with stress. He hasnt been on formula since maybe friday last week so almost a whole week without it and he is much better.

However my question is, is it ok to wean him this early?
He doesnt seem to miss it at all, and it doing better without it. With being mainly on solid foods etc. I feel bad that he hasnt had it in a while but like i said he is doing better and why re introduce it if he doesnt need it iykwim.

Would you put him back on form or would you just leave it now seen as he is amost a year anyways?

Thanks in advance ladies :winkwink:

Does he have problems with yoghurt? If he eats yoghurt & cheese with no problems give him more as he needs calcuim from dairy. If he's ok with yoghurt & cow milk in food, you can start introducing cow milk as a drink at around 11.5 months.

any food that come off a spoon rarely gets in his mouth lol. He steals the spoon before i get the chance lol.
Yeah i was thinking if i feed him high calcium foods he should still be getting a good calcuim source..

This may be a stupid question but why is it suggested that they dont have cows milk till after one?

Cow milk is difficult to digest & might upset his tummy if it's introduced as a drink earlier. When Omar was your LO's age, I used to use LF formula when he has upset tummy. You can use it for some time & see how it goes. Formula has calcium, iron & nutrients, ur LO still needs those even if he's eating solids.

Started using them yesterday and so far so good
