I'm a natural worrier but I always find myself going into the misscarriage, loss section and read everyone's stories and I can't help but become a nervous wreck. I'm almost 20 weeks but that's only half of the journey and so much could happen in that time. Does anyone else share this and if so how do you soothe yourself. I just ordered a Doppler because my nerves are getting so bad

With my first pregnancy I constantly stalked those forums but then had a MMC in the first tri, now I don't dare even look at them. I'm 8 weeks 4 days so still so much to worry about but getting there and hoping all goes well, I'd only dream to reach 20 weeks I'm so jealous!! Don't worry yourself too much you're half way and the risk of it happening is so much more lower, you'll be fine and so will your baby. Think positive cause worrying doesn't change anything unfortunately. x

I'm sorry you're going through all this worry and while I know you can't help, but worry/stress. Try your hardest not to. It is possible for something like that to happen to anyone, but worrying never helps. Enjoy the early weeks while you can! Best of luck :flower:

It's so normal to worry, we're moms! It's what we do. Try to hang in there. :hugs:

It's fine to worry :flower: Hopefully your doppler will help soothe your mind a bit. Just relax and remember that you've made it this far, the odds of anything happening are so tiny they are not worth worrying about. Just remember your pregnancy will be over before you know it so try and enjoy it and savour every moment! If you are getting anxious to the point that it's interfering with everyday life though I would talk to someone. I had quite bad anxieties when pregnant and then when LO came along, I was completely consumed with anxiety and worry about him, it got to the point where it really affected everyday life. I spoke to my GP about it and got things sorted, I'm really glad I did because life became much better! Hope you are feeling better soon. xx
