So I ate stuffed grape leaves for dinner today (Its a mid eastern dish), I then started to think about the nutrition of them, I looked it up and found that the vitamin A in grape leaves is very high! one site says that 1 grape leaf has 826 IU of Vitamin A, (it could be higher depending on the leaf and if you know what they are, they are not very big so you eat quite a few for a meal) i probably had 8 or 9 of them which equals out to something like 7434 IU! And thats just the leaves not counting other foods and my prenatal vitamins which has 1000 Iu. Im so scared cuz im always avoiding high in vitamin A foods like crazy, because i know very high amounts even if its not all the time can cause major birth defects and was told and read that pregnant womens daily recommended amount is 2,565 IU.
So iv forsure had over even 8000 IU today. Im scared I just dont know what to do!
