Hi everyone,

i miscarried last December at about 6+4. I'm coming up for that time this week with my current pregnancy and I'm terrified. I've been stupid and got myself excited about this pregnancy, am imagining being a mummy and whilst I've been anxious, things have got a lot worse as I'm coming up to my own milestone. I'm desperate for this baby to stick and the anxiety is making me miserable and bitchy to my husband.

to top it off I think my symptoms have stopped which is what happened last time at the same point in time, I just don't know how to calm down and get through the next week. I'm running to the toilet every 2 minutes to check I've not started to bleed.

Anyone know how I could possibly calm down? I feel like I'm going crazy.

All I can say is that every pregnancy is different.... your symptoms will come and go... and the fact that you lost your bean doesn't put you at any higher risk of MCing again :hugs: Could you get a reassurance scan given your history? xx

i cant give any advice :( i was the same but i had no symptoms through this pregnancy, the only thing i had was tiredness which came at 8 weeks. it made me worry and not feel pregnant.
hugs xx

Thanks even though it sounds daft someone just telling me those things makes me feel better. I suppose its hard when you don't have any outward sign that you're pregnant you just cling on to symptoms.

My GP wouldn't give me an early scan at the EPU so I could get a private one but not for another week or so - might think about that after this week. x

It's so hard to get past these milestones hun. My symptoms hadn't even started at 6 weeks, and then often used to come and go and it panicked me but hopefully we are still holding on. Sending :hugs:

Thanks Drazic - am trying to keep the faith - feeling positive today which is good - no particular reason but am hoping my hunch that this baby will be ok is real :-)

I also had a miscarriage at 6+4 and when I was coming up to that time in this pregnancy I was so nervous! But trust me, once you reach that time and pass it you will feel so much better :hugs: Just try to relax :)

i have lost 5 bubs and my midwife last time told me wen i get pg again and start to worry i have just to call and claim that i have pain. due to my background they need to scan me straight away. could you not use that. i completely understand and wont ever relax till i reach my milestones :hugs: xxx

Thanks ladies, Am at 6+1 today so getting closer although by my lmp I would be 6+3 which means I've nearly passed my milestone - I know it's silly but I feel if I get past 6+4 I will be ok.

I hope everyone else is doing ok, thank you so much for your kind words x
