If I use say frozen peas in a meal can I freeze them again once cooked?

Also do you keep all veg separate for freezing and then mix together or do you mix veg together then freeze?

Can you make say mashed potato with formula and freeze it?

I've always re-froze peas. Like tonight I made a cottage pie with frozen peas in it, there is too much there for us all to eat so once it has cooled later on I will freeze the rest of it.

Usually I keep my veg separate if its frozen but thats really just because thats the way I buy it.

I have froze Mash before but sometimes I find it can come out a little bit watery, usually I will just re-heat it and ad a little butter to it. Seems fine to me.

I asked the same question in baby club last week! Everyone replied that you can and I have since made lots of pots of carrot and pea puree for my LO.

Hope this helps. x

You can refreeze things if you cook them first but not if you don't. This applies to any food. Also you shouldn't freeze anything more than twice ie frozen and raw - defrost and cook - frozen and cooked - defrost and reheat then discard any leftovers, do not freeze again.

Hope this helps
