Freezing!

How long you can keep your baby purees frozen? I'm making everything as needed at the minute which can be a little time consuming!!

i think its 2 months, def worth making in batches and freezing in ice cube trays, much easier and probably more economical

luisa's meal planner (a karmel) suggests the following

purees with milk 4 weeks
meat and fish 6 weeks
fruit & veg (w/out milk) 8 weeks

Just to add onto this, once frozen take them out and put in a freezer bag, saves smashing around with the tray

I purchased some little klip containers, 3 for £1 in pound land and Tesco have little containers, about an inch square for 75p for 4. I use both and they have been no trouble in both the freezer and microwave.
