Frozen sample and fresh sample for iui

Hi ppl

My doc is suggesting that since the motility is low for DH's sperm, we take 1 sample tomm and freeze it and then combine it with a fresh sample on the day of the iui. Another option is to take 2 samples on the day of the iui 1 hour apart. Honestly, am a bit worried cos there will be so much performance pressure on poor DH. Any suggestions??

Has anyone pooled in samples for iui. Technically it sounds like a perfect solution for low sperm count and motility. Wondering why its not done often.

Never heard of that, but it sounds like a good plan to increase your chances. I wonder how many frozen ones survive compared to how many there will be after an hour break?
