frustrated, worried, anxious - this is an understatment

well, been at it since dec. had lh and fsh tests done, lh was 6.5, fsh was 1, clear for all swabs etc and rubella. had progesterone done but these results havent gone back to gp for some reason like the others and the hospital wont tell me the result. MY BLOOD yet they wont tell me about it. hsg showed no blockages and bf has sa on 30th. is ther a chance sperm can dramatically decrease in 2 years? vasectomy reversal reverse itself again? i've researched high and low and found nothing.
i have been taking wellwoman which i thought was enough as it had folic acid in it but compared it to some levels online and it seems i'm hardly getting anything for preconception. bought bf expensive fertilcare and his are the same - hardly any vit c or zinc! going to get him some wellman.
thing is bf wears tight pants. he hates boxers and i must admit his scrote is red hot! the consultant who did hei reversal said it was rubbish that hear effects sperm but i am starting to wonder. i hardly drink, he dont, he has stopped smoking, he is fit, i'm trying to be and i've swapped tea bags for decaf!
what more could we do?
i said i wouldnt but have bought opk's. i used them sticks from access diagnositcs last year every day and got not one positive.
amso fed up. i know i havent been trying as much as you ladies but i was told not to conceive for a year and now i am its not happening.
am dreading someone who i know getting pg

Thats crap about your bloods, they should tell you what the results are.

When did your BF have his reversal? Unfortunately vasectomy reversal rates that go on to have good, normal sperm aren't all that high. I hope your BF is one of the ones that goes back to having good sperm. Best of luck for his SA.

There is lots of evidence to suggest that heat such as saunas, tight briefs etc do cause problems, so try and get him to keep them cool if he can.

My OH had his vasectomy reversed 3 months agao and he got a sperm count of 46 million and they expect it to rise so don't worry it can work xx

Hi meisha, there are some good books that you could read which have some very useful tips and advice one is Zita West and the other is Marilyn Glenville. They will both tell you which vits to take as well as give you lots of really helpful info.

fella had vr in 06, his result was about 40million + they said his sperm count would not return to normal for about 8 months but i gt pg the month after so his swimmers must have been well at it! i just hope he hasnt suffered from delayed scarring etc and its reduced his count. after all, i did force him to perform less than two weeks after the op! my fault.
