FSH ladies- what path have you taken?

can i ask what your path has been and how you've gotten there? (meaning meds, treatments, IUI, IVF, etc)

Been seeing an RE since march. Waiting for AF on tuesday. BFN's. I'm supposed to call on day 1 of AF to set up an appointment.

I have yet to have a amh or afc test done. I know the RE wants to repeat the day 3 bloods.

But then what? is clomid useless? will i be going on to IUI's or IVF?

Just trying to prepare myself for what's to come.

Clomid is definitely not useless. My highest FSH was 15.5. Our treatment choice as recommended by FS has been IUI. I am taking a high dose of Femara (12.5mg daily) days 3-7 of my cycle and it is working. I have developed three large follicles and numerous small ones both cycles. I think we will attempt with IUI 3x and then possibly IVF depending on finances.

(This was all after we were told by a regular OB that we would need an egg donor so PLEASE hang in there and see what the RE says)

luckily no one has mentioned to me an egg donor. My FS doesn't seem overly concerned with my high fsh given my age (30) i suppose. So i guess now i wait and see what he says this next cycle and after an amh count and repeat day 3 bloods.

My FS said that FSH is a measure of how many possible eggs you have and age is a better predictor of the quality of the egg so being 30, if they can get you to produce one or more follicles with medication you are golden.
