FTM traumatic labour & delivery, but he's here safe and sound :)

You sound like one tough cookie! Congratulations on your gorgeous little boy :)
Are you proud of yourself for getting through it? X

Thank you - I don't know if I'm proud (I hardly got through it gracefully, haha), but I'm certainly amazed I made it through. Now that I know my little boy, I'd go through that hell again for him, but I'm not sure I could go through it for another child.

I'm always interested to hear how women feel after a traumatic labour experience...it must be such a mixed bag of emotions! I'm sure your OH is proud of you though :)
I understand that, I'm still waiting on my first one to get himself ready for the world, but after such a rubbish pregnancy so far I'm not convinced I could do it again!

Amy I wish you the best of luck and truly hope you have a better experience than I did. If it makes you feel any better the doctor did tell me I was very unlucky to have such a difficult labour & birth, so at least it's not your run-of-the-mill story! X

I feel the same Cordelia, had a really bad experience, but have been told they wouldnt expect me to try a vaginal birth again, I would get an elective c section. That sounds much more bearable!

That is quite a birth story! Glad everything turned out ok in the end though. Congratulations :hugs:
