No you don't need a full bladder for later scans.

I only needed a full bladder for the anatomy scan.. They did a growth scan last Thursday without a full bladder.. Didin't know i was going to have it that day.. He measured too small with the measuring tape the midwife was using.

Not a full bladder but not empty. You'll need it to be in between, as long as you don't pee for about an hour before you'll be fine. A little in your bladder helps them to see your cervix in the scan but too much and all they can see if your about to burst bladder lol xx

nope, no need for a full bladder.

the reason you need a full bladder earlier on is it lifts baby up and also acts as like a magnifying glass (kinda) but at 28 weeks baby is more than big enough.

xxx

Yep no need. I went with a full bladder and was asked to empty it. x
