My blood is boiling!! i hate him, i hate his mates, i hate his family ... ahhhhhh i hate everything about him!

Jayden stayed in Adam's on Saturday and came home late, with a cough + stinking of smoke [Adam smokes ciggys + weed] an his mate has just been speaking to me about it an i said to his mate that Adam needs to sort his head out cos hes got a kid now but he just told me theres no way Adam will stop being who he is just because hes got a kid so am i wrong in saying ...

I feel so mean on my baby because what dad will choose something/anything over his own baby how do i explain that to him when hes older when asks who his daddy is and why doesn't he want to know him..because he preferred to get smashed of his face on drugs

Its not liking your asking him to quit your asking him not to smoke cigs or weed around your son as every one knows its not the best thing for him... and he should of realized that if he is smoking weed he is not at his best to look after your son. Your just being a mother. Jayden wont blame you for looking after him and doing what is best. He will grow up knowing that his dad would rather do drugs instead of looking after him.

Ugh, I'm not a single mom but smoking around a baby is awful! It makes me so angry! I live with my OH at his parents house and his dad smokes, and even though we've made him go outside, it still gets in the house and it drives me crazy. Smoke is so bad for anybody, especially babies, it increases the chance of SIDS! I really hope you can find a way to get Adam to at least not smoke when he's with Jayden, it's so bad for him. Can't he at least go without smoking just for the time he's with his son? Or at least go outside for a cig? Also he'd getting high while he's supposed to be taking care of a baby? That's pretty dumb, it's not like he's taking care of Jayden often, right? so he can't take a night off of hanging out with his friends and getting high? Uhg, sorry for the rant, it's prolly not my place to complain, but that kind of thing pisses me off so badly. What an ass.

Maybe you should stop letting Jayden stay with him until he sorts himself out. If he cares about him enough he'll stop, or at least cut down. If not then maybe he's Jaydens better off without him. It's not fair on him being with Adam, breathing in all that smoke and I can't believe he would do that. Surely he can control himself when there's a baby around, who cares what he gets up to with his mates. He needs to understand that he has a responsibility. If he wants to throw the chance of having a part in Jaydens life he needs to sort himself out. If he isn't willing to do that then don't waste you're time with him hun. Hey Rach, i havnt read all the replies.. because to be honest i have a very short attention span lol, so i may be treading over old ground but what the heck!

You've got to think of effect that Adam's behaviour will have on Jayden.. What will breatheing in weed (the smoke is always the most potient) & dirty fag smoke do to your baby?

You are NOT a bad mum by giving the choice of drugs or your son, you'd a worse mum if you let contact continue knowing the risks that Adam is purposefully putting on your sons head. This can be very deprimental to your sons health & god forbid these were to cause him problems in later life, Who will he blame?

Some Food for thought. You will do whats best for Jayden no matter what that is, If it was me i would have Adam having contact supervised by me no matter how much i hated him, just so i no that my son is safe & well.

I have told Adam exactly what i think but he didn't get back so until he takes responsibility and realizes hes a dad now and there is more important things than smoking/drinking etc. then he WILL NOT be seeing Jayden. I have said to his mum she can see Jayden but NOT to let Adam on his own with MY baby and she is having him for an hour tonight (while i go the gym ) back to the point...well i hope Adam realizes what he is missing out on before it is too late, because at the minute i will stop him from seeing him all together.
