I was wondering whether there is a link between symptoms and the gender of the baby?! I've heard lots of stories from people who said they had completely different pregnancies depending upon the gender on their baby. I'd be really interested to see if it's true, even if there is a 50/50 chance of guessing the gender correctly!

I have two girls and both pregnancies were different. This pregnancy its too early to say!

This my second pregnancy and so far it has been completely different to my first one.

I was very sick right from the start with my first pregnancy and could barely function until I was 18 weeks. After that, I still had nausea and occasional vomitting but was able to leave the house provided I Always took a drink of water and a snack with me.

This time around I have not had any sickness at all (thankfully!) It is still early days, I'm only 7+3 but was already feeling quite bad by this time with my first. I've been much more tired this time though, but I'd rather that than the sicknesss!

Obviously it is too soon to find out the gender this time but I can't help thinkin that this one is a boy.

I had serious serious morning sickness. Lost 14 pounds in four weeks and weighed my starting weight at 26 weeks pregnant and mine was a boy and they say bad ms is a girl. My friend had two different pregnancies and both boys. I really do not believe the old wives tales

I can't really vote as I've only had two girls and this pregnancy we don't know yet, but...with both my daughters, the pregnancies were so different!

With DS I was sick from 6 weeks till about 13 weeks. With DD I was sick off and on the whole time until she was born. This time, I have waves of nausea off and on randomly each day and cant quite figure out what is going on since I craved boy stuff with DS and girl stuff with DD and this time, it's both! Really strange. So who knows! :haha:

My girls I had nausea with my boys I had tiredness and hungry. Later on with my girls I craved orange juice. But nothing to report on boys x

Both my pregnancies have been the same and I have a boy and a girl no ms or nothing!x

Can't vote as of yet coz I have 4 girls and don't know what this one is yet. My girls I was sick with all mildly for varying lengths of time...got less time with each pregnancy. This time I have had hyperemesis so that's different. My girls I got a sore bleeding nose from about 4 weeks pregnant. ..not this time also different and with my girls my skin was really bad...This time it's quite nice so again different will vote in about 7 weeks when I go for private gender scan xxx

With ds I felt great and I was never sick.... this time its totally different I'm sick everyday.....

All my pregnancies have been the same almost.
No symptoms with #1 (girl), #2 (boy), #4 (girl), and #5 (I feel it would have been 1 girl and 2 boys). I had everything in the book, the whole pregnancy with #3 (boy).

Currently 7+1 and I've only had morning sickness once. However I am experiencing tiredness and STARVING!! :haha: Literally!! Cravings are a bonus!! I felt this one would be girl, however I'll get a stronger feeling once I'm farther along. :)

This is an interesting poll. However, it might be better to poll the girls in second/third tri as by then, most might know baby's gender & be able to say if they had different symptoms w/ differebt gender.

My first two pregnancies were the same and both were girls. This pregnancy is different and idk the gender yet. Feel so sick this time around. :/

I have two girls, I had sore boobs and fatigue with them but no sickness. This time i have no sore boobs, but ive started having MS over the last couple of days. I thought it was a stomach bug at first, threw up twice the other morning! Im wondering if it means this baby will be a boy, but who knows, i think its just that each pregnancy is different and I was lucky not to have MS the last two times :D x

My first pregnancy I would have had a boy, and had awful morning sickness. No fatigue though. This time around the morning sickness has been terrible again (finally subsiding though!) but I've also been extremely fatigued. I'm not sure whether it's a boy or girl yet, still have two weeks until I find out.
