Measuring slightly bigger than what I should , should i worry ?? This is baby number 4 does that make a difference ?? X I am measuring at 24.5 but only 23 weeks

I'm on my 3rd and measuring a little big. I read that it's normal to measure bigger with subsequent pregnancies. ;)

Fundal height is only a rough guide since it can depend on how baby is lying when the measurement is taken.

I measured behind for most of my first pregnancy (by up to 3 weeks) and in the end, I was referred for a growth scan but everything was fine!

I really don't think you need to worry at all :)

Thanks it's just the first I have ever not been spot on and trying to find info is hard and midwife never said too much .

It's not all that accurate. Factors can make it vary like torso length, weight, babies position, fluid ect.. Also depends on who does it. I've had one mw measure me on target and then another 2cm ahead :/
I didn't even get my fundal height measured until about 31 weeks anyway.

I measured big at 24 weeks so they made me get an ultrasound and baby is only slightly bigger than average which is normal. They said I probably measured big because it was my second pregnancy.

I was measuring 2 weeks ahead at my app on Monday with the tape measure. She said that's within the normal range, any bigger and they'll send me for a scan x

I've always measured big in each pregnancy and the doctors have never been concerned. This time I was 25 cm at 24 weeks, so not much but I bet it'll get to a bigger gap as I go on. As other say it's not the most accurate and if baby is laying differently it'll effect the measurement. X
