Funeral tomorrow morning

It's the funeral of my friends little baby tomorrow morning at 10.30am. Poor little boy was born in the morning, and passed away at 10pm on the same day, 29th May.

It's going to be an horrific day. I should imagine the church will be packed because she is a very well-loved friend.

She's asked that no-one wear black, we've all got to dress in bright colours. I think that's a lovely idea.

I really haven't been able to think of anything else for days now, I'm dreading tomorrow. How do you cope with something like this? I have no idea how my friend will get through it.

I think it might be a case of not working up a plan on how to be their for her tomorrow but to act on the day as it happens Just a suggestion but not one I have ever experienced.

I am soo sorry to hear that your friend is having to go through this.
There are many of us here including myself that are trying to come to terms with miscarrying in the first trimester. I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose a child in this way.
The only thing you can do is be there for your friend and play the day by ear.
