Hi everyone!

I'm Claire, I'm a breastfeeding mum to a 9 month old and a freelance writer. I was recently feeding my baby boy, who has now got two bottom teeth, when he fell asleep on the boob and bit me! I didn't want to wake him up but was in massive pain so was just silently screaming and flailing my arms around! This is definitely the side to breastfeeding they don't warn you about!

I thought there must be many more funny stories out there! As a result I also decided I'd write an article about it! So please share your funny stories! If you don't want your story mentioned in the article, that's absolutely fine, please still share it so we can have a giggle and know that we are not alone in our mishaps! Just let me know that you don't want it mentioned and I absolutely won't. Also, you are free to remain nameless should you wish!

I look forward to giggling with you at your stories :happydance:

Well i dont like to breast feed in public, i usually run back to the car or feed just before i go out but recently we went on holiday and i thought thats it ive had enough of hiding away all the time im going to pluck up the courage to go outside and sit on the bench where at the time there was around 5 benches that nobody was sat on, i will face the wall with a muslin covering my boob, that cant be so bad right? My hubby stayed inside with our 7 year old as he was playing bingo LOL. So then i saw this guy come over sat on another bench to have a fag, so i kinda turned a little more out of his view , i could feel his eyes burning in the back of my head so luckly logan was pretty much finished so i thought quick unlatch and slide my top up, as im doing this i can see the guy comes walking over , all im thinking is thank god i unlatched him and pulled my top up as then this guy starts chatting to me :nope: I just felt like saying f off. I had to go back inside to the toilet to put my bra strap back on properly lol and fix my top, and so now i find my self hiding away again hahahaha

When I returned to work after having my first I would nurse her on one side and pump on the other every morning to get a little extra to send to daycare. I was usually in a hurry and its hard to balance a baby and a breast milk pouch without spilling (which is devastating) so when a spider repelled from the ceiling and dangled in front of my face I just held my breath and tried not to panic. Even when it landed on my bare chest I simply waited and hoped it would would run away eventually. However when it ran over and started crawling on my babies face I snapped. so there I was trying to swat a spider away while screaming for my husband and trying not to spill breatmilk, my poor baby trying to stay latched a midst all the chaos.. quite the predicament.

I used to have horrible oversupply issues. Can't tell you the number of times I looked down and realized his whole head was covered in tiny milk droplets from my milk just spraying out. Or that I covered a nearby cat with milk. Or he'd push on my breast and my milk would spray in my eyes or across the room...

Would you mind leaving me your first name, age and how many children you have please? No probs if you'd rather remain anonymous

Hannah, 22, 1 baby.

When my son was around 3 months old we had supply issues. I'd read that skin on skin was suppose to help boost supply so I thought I'd give it a try. So I was sat feeding with no top on and my son in his nappy when all of a sudden he covered us both in a fountain of vomit. I was screaming for my OH shouting "help! hurry!! I'm going to drop him he's so slippy and I'm so slimey."
What a sight he must have had bursting into the bedroom with me standing there topless absolutely covered in sick holding a confused baby at arms length 😂

my son is 5 weeks old & about 2 weeks ago he was nursing & I had just gotten home from getting dinner for myself. of course baby comes first so I got him all set up & then I started eating bites of my coleslaw.. I dropped a huge spoonful on his little head! lmao. he didn't mind he just kept eating :)
