Me and my OH got talking about what our kids names would have been if we had kids young :haha: Like really young when you use to play with your dolls and play house and call your kids names, got me thinking what would your guys kids names would have been if your name preference hadn't changed from your childhood years :haha:
Mine - Honey or Miley (AFTER miley cyrus).
OH - Ronald (after Ronald McDonald) or Shaggy (scooby doo)

Does anyone else remember their favourite kid names as a kid?

When I was like 13 I had a crush on 2 boys (Timmy & Tommy), and always said I wanted to name my first two daughters after them!!

Their names would have been: Timiny & Thomasina - I was quite proud of these names I made up!! :haha:

I was soooo obsessed with the name Julianna Daisy. It's not a bad name, if I say so myself!

I also loved J names in general and always wanted a boy with the initials JT and/or JR.

I loved the names Freddie and Max when I was little. The only girl name I can think of is Becky. All fairly normal! X

really curious as to how old the OP is if when you where young you watch miley cyrus?

mine would of been after family members because I use to like my cousin and aunts name

I'm 21, I watched Hannah Montana until I was like 17 (think I was 13 ish when it came out?) (was a guilty pleasure) I seriously considered that name if I was to have kids and was set on the name until she went nuts.

I did have a doll called Topsy (as in Topsy and Tim) but I can't remember any more.

I named my gerbils 'Silent' and 'Leaflet' so safe to say I would have chosen something bizarre and awful.

My dolls were called chloe and Charlene and I was convinced these would be my children's names!

I was obsessed with the Japanese name Tomika for a girl for absolutely ages, then Elle, then I started liking Thea and that was my favourite for years, until OH vetoed it actually! When I was really small I named my dolls Immy after my best friend, and I also liked Zoe and Jessica. For boys I liked Troy as a young teenager, then Noah. When I was very small I named my male pets and dolls Jack.

When I was little I said I was going to name my daughters Isobel, Clover and either Samantha or Mantha. I don't remember liking any boys names.

I had a doll called Timmy and 2 playmobil characters called John and Elizabeth. Most of my toy's names were much more conservative than my son's name or any names we considered using!

I did have a playmobil girl called 'Tyina' which I got from a Spiderman episode!

When I was little, my favorite name was Sara (from a movie I watched when I was REALLY little). It is still one of my top girl names!

I used to like the name Tammy because of the shop Tammy Girl. I also like Tina because that's what my tiny tears doll was called.

We now have a daughter called Chloe. We got her name from a character in Home & Away in the 90s.

I also thought how young you must be to have watched Hannah Montana :-) x

Katrina, Nakita, and Savannah.

I don't remember liking any boys names back then.

Funny thing... my MIL told me she wanted to name DH sister Savannah but FIL wouldn't let her!

Tinka or Theodore. I eventually called my kitten Theo and called a few of my dollies Tinka

My favourite doll when I was little was called Jemima and I used to call her 'jumpy jarmo' (obviously)

I do remember proudly telling my mum I would call my first daughter Abbey spelt like that with the 'e' as I thought it was different. It's a perfectly normal name but hasn't been on any of my lists now I have kids!

When I was little I also saw the name Seamus written down and assumed it was pronounced SEE-mus...I thought it was beautiful until my mother told me it was SHAY-mus...Then I was too embarrassed to mention it again.

I used to like the names Jessica and Michael when I was little! I also had a little friend called Melanie when I was 6 and I thought it was the most beautiful name I'd ever heard!

I always wanted a boy called Sebastian and a girl called Sakura.

Tamsin was a teenage favourite as was Xanthe.

I wanted 4 kids called Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy..... very normal and very Narnia inspired! (Havent read the books since my early teens)
