My GD finally seems somewhat under control with the two kinds of insulin and not eating anything interesting.
The problem is that I'm still losing weight.
The endocrinologist told me that I have to stop losing weight.
I'm not skinny by any means and have plenty to lose but he still thinks I should maintain or gain a small amount from here on out.
The problems are
1. With the heat, I don't feel hungry
2. My stomach is still shrunk from the months of morning sickness so I can't eat much in one sitting.
3. I can't eat anything interesting!
4. My 7 times a day testing schedule makes it awkward to snack or eat in multiple sittings without screwing up my readings.
I don't know what to do really. I'm very active (just the nature of my job and not having a car at the moment, I have to walk everywhere) so my calorie requirements are high enough, but at the moment, I'm finding it hard to pack in enough calories while avoiding simple carbs and fat.
Any advice?
