Mummylove the 19 is my cycle day :) x

Wantabean I remember when you were TTC, you make me so happy with how far you have come. And you give me hope :) your little boy is amazing! x

Zoie, I'm a bit
confused because I thought you already had a +opk on a FRER. Better get that eggie.

Stacey, how many dpo are you now?

Maybe there is some truth to the not trying thing. I was reading about lowering fsh and a big thing is stress. If you aren't stressing you're increasing your chances. Megg, I think you did an awesome job not stressing and appreciating every moment. But back to the fsh, it doesn't really make sense to try to lower it because your body makes more to compensate for less estrogen from less eggs. But, there are dr's who wait to do treatment cycles for a cycle with a lower early fsh so there must be something to it, although he dr's don't seem to agree on it. Anyway, conclusions on lowering fsh study are vitex, dhea to lower cortisol(last on my list), wheatgrass. Katie, I think you should see if your maca will change it. I hate to suggest it but maybe another frer fsh test if you don't conceive this cycle. I'm betting you do. I ordered maca, my dh is going to take it too. Woo hoo.

Mummylove, soy is soy isoflavones. You can get it about anywhere. It's a supplement. I've also read about women using natural soy foods to get their isoflavones. Soy isoflavones are a phytoestrogen, they bind to your estrogen receptors but they basically hold a spot open because your body doesn't recognize them. So it tricks your body into making more estrogen because it thinks you don't have enough. Then when you stop suddenly your body is in high gear and you get that ovulation response started.

There are two amounts on the bottle of soy, one says mg per capsule the other is isoflavones per capsule. Look at the isoflavones mg, I think starting with about 80mg is good. What do you think Katie? Or anyone else? I did 160 and I may have over done it a bit. It did change my o day. I usually o on day 17/18 but did on day 16. That doesn't seem like a big deal but at the time I had been having messed up cycles and oing way late. I took it on days 5-9, thinking I was working with my natural cycle more but I'm not so sure that was best either. I'm taking Femara on days 3-7 and oing on day 14/15 now. I felt like soy was stronger than the Femara, I'm thankful that it's a tool that we have access to.

Andrea, I understand what you are saying. I hope you are pg so you can be at peace that way. I really hope it happens soon for you, like now.

10 I thought I did too but it was a bit early for me and my Clearblue fertility monitor was still only high. And no positive on the Clearblue digi either so I kept testing so I'm either oing again now or the first time now, I don't think i od earlier tho x

when I took soy a few months back it. Boughtmy o forward 4 days I gradually increased the dosage

I took
80
120
160
200
240

Cds 2-6

If it weren't so late, I'd txt Cami about it. I'm really, really curious. I wish I knew if I could prevent losing the next one... I can't imagine going through this again. This has been the most miserable experience of my entire life... much more traumatic than the first 2, because they were technically early losses that were only found later on. So, it was nothing like this. I just want to do what I can to make the next baby my forever baby... I know you want the same, honey. I wish it was easier! :hugs:
Hey Megg I can't lend much help, but I had 8 MC's and they never found out why, but then I finally got a forever baby and now I'm pushing my luck asking for another! :D

hmmm...maybe I should try to take soy on my next cycle to. I don't really like ovulating on cycle day 20. Cycle day 14 or so would be great. lol :haha:

For you 2 with recurrent MC's... Did you find the "key" to keeping one? Or, did it just suddenly work out? I'm curious. I don't know what else I can do but hope the next one is for keeps.

Megg you can text me anytime I believe I was still awake.... if I am not it won't wake me ....
Anyway to answer your question the things I did different with this my forever baby was...
I had a Hysteroscopy done ( similar to a HSG) they put a fluid in your uterus and a telescope thing and look around it is believed to help flush out blockages. I took clomid 50mg days 3-7. I started taking baby asprin. I take extra folic acid with my prenatal. I was on progesterone till 13 weeks. I had lost about 30 pounds before this one. So I don't know that any of these things actually are the thing that helped me keep this forever baby but I think it helped.. I wish I had more answers for you

How cool is this! lol https://www.perpetualkid.com/worlds-largest-gummy-bear.aspx

I think that the FSH (as I understand it) is more of an indication that there could be a problem and a marker for more testing. Its just not an end all, be all answer! I could be totally wrong though.

I'll maybe up my folic acid. I don't think I have time to lose weight... but I'm going to try and be more active.

I saw my FS today. He cleared me to start cycling again. I'm in the April cycle and start my drugs on Mar 16. He also said that he has no hesitation in saying that my loss was genetic and unpreventable. There was nothing I did or didn't do to cause it, in his opinion. And, he doesn't think I'm anymore likely to have it happen again than anyone else. He was very kind! I'm a happy girl today. Loving my new ticker!

Hey girls :( sorry haven't been on much lately just a lot on my mind and sadness.....I feel horrible...going to the doctor at 1:15 just hoping what I suspect isn't happening....either I have a UTI or bladder infection of some sort :( I feel horrid :( my head on top of everything else is killing me an I keep getting sour tummy :( just waiting to blow chunks :( praying I can just walk in pee in the cut an it be over with an she will get me some meds....thinking of all of you....I'll update soon as I'm done appt. in an hour time! Totally feel like right before my period...maybe AF is just gonna get me early who knows :(

ok so I had 2 very strange dreams last night... first one was another labor dream.. I was at the hospital in labor and had this nurse that came in and she was going to be leaving soon and I told her I wanted a natural childbirth and needed a nurse that would support me through that when she left... she said that I was right I would need someone to support me through that... so shift change happens and this new nurse comes in and wants me to walk the hall so we do and I see the nurse that just left and she is like haha I gave you pitocin and a pain pill dissolved in your water so you will not be having anything natural.. WTH?

Dreams like that suck...the funniest I had so far was the doctor put a chicken egg in me an I gave labor to a baby few hours later....then the other most recent I had a csection an cried because i wanted natural birth :( an I was so upset it was my last baby an I wanted to push :( ....I will NEVER to my power have another csection that sucked :( I'd love another natural like I did with #2 :) lol

What is the point of clomid if I don't o any sooner than usual ahhhhhhhhh I'm getting pissed.....

Agreed... Clomid could be taking longer so it makes a better egg. That's a good thing.
