I'm going in for another stress test, and as my blood pressure has remained elevated, I'm afraid I may end up staying in the hospital a few nights as they almost kept me on Tuesday. They were also talking induction at 39 weeks (oops edited, just realised I had a 2 instead of 3 here), but I'm not sure if that will be sped up, or if they'll just try to get my bp under control. Was wonder if/what I should pack for snacks incase I have a blood sugar crash. My initial thought is a pack of crackers with peanut butter, or a pack of beef jerky...but both of those seem high sodium since my blood pressure is up. Any suggestions? (something I don't need a cooler for).

What about raw or at least unsalted almonds or other nuts? You could buy some individually packaged cheese and just throw those in as you're walking out the door.

Greek yogurt has high protein, natural sugars, and low sodiom/fat.... Or apple slices with peanut butter to dip....
