GD levels.....

I need your help ladies.. I had my first Glucose test, the one were you drink that horrid stuff then have a blood test after an hour.. I came back as 9.2.. Is that very high? They now have me on a high carb diet till wednesday to test me again after 2hrs of drinking that stuff and no food for 12hrs.. Im really worried

I cant tell you exactly as Im not sure what sort of levels they are looking at for that test. For one hour after eating normal food the level needs to be under 7.8mmol.

For the fasting test then 2 hour blood tests levels need to be:

Fasting - under 5.5/5.3
1h under 10
2h under 8.6

mummyconfused if it makes you feel abit better, my levels after 2 hours were 10.8 lol. I think 9.2 after a hour is still probably abit on the high side, but since the test i had was 2 hours i'm not sure exactly x
