gender based off heartrate?

This baby started off around 175 (8 week US) and now we're at 150 - 151 at 15 weeks. Any guesses? DS was always around 162 - 163 and then 140ish right before birth.

My 3 boys were all between 150-160. I don't believe in the hr for gender predictions.

I am having a boy ( found out early due to the harmony test) and at the 10 week ultrasound, his heart rate was 173. At the 12 and 13 week ultrasound, it was 153. My doctor heard the heartbeat on the doppler last week and it was 158. I dont think heart rates are a predictor of the gender.

I also don't think heart rates are good predictors for gender. My babies hr was always on the lower end, predictors said boy but three scans have said girl! Unless I get a shock at delivery ...

haha! It's amazing how the old wives tales work hehe!

We'll be having a scan here within the next couple weeks. Waiting for my OB to set it up since he sends people out to an epic US specialist.

No preference, but I have this sneaking suspicion that I'm having a girl so we shall definitely see if my momdar needs a tweaking lolol! SO excited to see this baby!

with my son, both me and my horse were pregnant. I kept insisting that SHE was having a boy and kept feeling strong boy... She wound up having a filly (girl) and I definitely had the boy. Funny thing was that after I had my son, I felt girl for the rest of her pregnancy LOL

Dd has had a low heartbeat 140-155. It was high in the beginning tho!

I know with my daughter, my HeartBeat was in the upper 160s and lower 170s. This one seems to be in the lower 140s 150's. I find out tomorrow and will let you know!

I found out today I'm having a girl, heart beat was 147.

Heart rate has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with activity in utero. My one boy had the HR- always in the 150's and 160's. Both of my girls were always in the 130's and 140's.

Trust me, I'm not putting any real credence into this heart rate and old wives tale stuff, I'm just amused and compiling evidence as I impatiently wait until November 3rd for my anatomy scan.
