Gender confirmation?

We had our 20wk scan 2 weeks ago all was fine just needed a few more views as baby wouldn't move to the correct position. Also tried to view the gender but baby wasn't giving anything away that day.

So booked in for 2nd scan 2weeks later, which was today.

At our scan today baby was in the perfect position got all the views very quickly. She also did a quick look down below said baby was a little lady and that was that...

I didn't 'see anything' and neither did husband. Felt very rushed. I know they do this a million times a day so its second nature to the sonographer.

My question is; do we go by just 1 confirmed gender scan or wait to confirm at our next scan at 32wks?

I'm so excited!

I know winkies can hide, but for reference... this was my son's junk area at 21w. So I'm inclined to say if it's a boy, you would know lol

If you're really unsure, request your records. You have a right to it and usually your scans are recorded or at least pictures are. Especially on the anatomy scan. I'm surprised they didn't print anything for you. I got like 6 pictures at my anatomy scan and follow up. The first being penis pics on both lol

I am sorry you felt rushed, that is not good. But I do think that they are probably right. I saw my little boys bits when she was measuring the femur before she even looked for the gender and she even said, if you don't want to know the gender look away now. It was really obvious, I will share a pic too. If nothing was seen it is most likely a girl though I do agree she should have taken the time to point out the 3 lines and print a potty shot!

If you didn't see 'anything' and they said it was a girl, I would trust its a girl. Here's our scan with DS2 and DD (whom I'm currently carrying) at 15 weeks.


But I agree, if you're worried about it request your records. I'm sure they need to submit proof that baby is X gender.
