SCAN0002.jpg

Introducing my little bean! I had my 12 week scan today :hugs:

I wonder if any one could advise me on a gender guess from nub/skull shape

I haven't a clue what I'm looking for!! :dohh:

thanks all :flower::flower::flower:x

Hmmm. I was never very good at the nub/skull theory, however, your U/S at this stage looks very similar to how mine did and Im having a boy.

So I guess boy!

I think boy too
thanks for looking

:hugs: Congrats!! And sometimes we just 'know' - I had a gut feeling from very early on I was having a boy and sure enough....he is!

I had a gut feeling from the start, even before the scan pics today

you haven't got long to go now.... I've got ages!!
good luck to you and your baby boy :hugs:

Thanks! It seems like such a long journey, but at the same time it's gone by quickly, especially the 3rd tri - I can't believe it's just a few weeks left! Best wishes for a smooth 2nd and 3rd tri and your LO will be here before you know it! Keep us posted when/if you find out gender for sure.

Hi Maple leaf and tracey143!

thanks for your guesses!! I guess I will have to wait till my 20 weeks scan for sure!!

We have a little boy already and this will be our last : (

A girl would be nice but I think a boy would suit my LO ; he is very much an active boy and he would love another one to run , rough and tumble with

Maple leaf, I am originally from Rotherham and now live in Manchester; I see you have moved further afield!!

Thanks to all ladies who have replied and lots and lots of luck to you all and your babies

Hello fellow Yorkshire lass...yep, moved 1000s of miles away in 2007.! There are so many differences in the care over here it's pretty scary. I had both my children at Calow in Chesterfield and they were fantastic.

Here, I have been treated to a lovely Glucose Tolerance Test and will be having a vaginal swab to check for Strep B at 35 weeks ( which are both standard in N America.! ) I was joking with DH last night that I should have moved back home as soon as I got my BFP.

I love Manchester...lots of happy memories - usually involving alcohol or shopping!

Let us know for sure when you find out.
