What has been your experience with them?

Do you find them extremely negative or what, especially if they have an intern?

I only dealt with one after we'd had a very high set of numbers for Down come back, but she seemed OK, for someone who was reporting the scariest news I'd ever heard.

I actually loved everyone at the genetics clinic. They could give me real information, as compared to the 'Healthy Start' crew, who were useless.

I found the genetic counselor I went to to be quite wonderful actually! I am 40 and opted for an amnio, but had to consult with a counselor first. She showed us the numbers and gave us all the info necessary to make an informed decision. I really, really liked her and she was not negative at all...was not pushing us in either direction.
