Okay so I'm on CD1 now, and instead of wallowing, I want a game plan for next cycle.

In addition to Clomid 100mg, I wanted to add in one or all (??) of the things from the subject line. I want to eat healthier as well.

So my question is, how should the above be taken and when? How much, which cycle days?

Thanks in advance! :)

I've read that Geritol is taken starting on CD1 up through ovulation. I'm not sure what dose though. I would think whatever the bottle recommends.

Guaifenesin is 200mg three times a day. It is taken 5 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation for a total of 6 days. You should increase water intake with it and can go up to the max dose/day recommended on the label if the 200mg three times a day isn't working.

The baby aspirin can be taken daily, but you should check with your doctor before taking it. Baby aspirin dosage is 81mg. It comes in chewable tabs and also enteric coated tabs which you would want if you have a sensitive stomach.

Hope this helps!

You can take Geritol up until ur BFP. I take Geritol. The other two, I have heard mixed reviews on the real advantage of the baby aspirin, but it would serve the same purpose as the Guaifenesin, to increase CM. Ive not taken the Guaifenesin, but i do know Guaifenesin is used to relieve chest congestion& is a expectorant, so its not necessary to help conceive at all, but most likely helps in the CM dept, if thats what u need. I would go 4 the Geritol! Its workin' awesome for me, and havent had to use preseed for a week!!!

Hope me and kerrbear7183 helpd!

I was reading about aspirin and I quote a piece I found most interesting:
There is some research to suggest that taking a daily dose of baby aspirin can actually help with fertility as well. Baby aspirin helps to increase the flow of blood to the uterus. This, in turn, makes the uterine lining healthier, and helps with successful implantation. Other studies suggest that aspirin actually increases the amount of activity in your ovaries, and allows your ovaries to release multiple eggs during ovulation. Some health care providers may actually prescribe baby aspirin if you are having trouble with fertility issues.

In addition, baby aspirin acts as a blood thinner and can possibly prevent issues with blood clotting, which have been connected with miscarriage. A low dose of aspirin makes your blood platelets less sticky, which allows blood to travel more freely through the placenta to your unborn baby. Often, baby aspirin is prescribed along with Heparin, which is an anticoagulant. However, there is some conflicting research on taking baby aspirin while pregnant. If you are pregnant, you should consult with your health care provider before taking a daily regimen of baby aspirin.

Personally I wouldn't take any aspirin or Guaifenesin after ovulation. In fact I would avoid Guaifenesin entirely, better drink some grapefruit juice & filtered water instead.

I had to take antihistamines all previous 4-5 weeks and they messed up with my cervical mucus, so I'm starting grapefruit juice with a vengeance. It has worked well previous times.

Right now I'm on maca, spirulina, wheat grass, and folic acid, I will start aspirin too. No other supplements as I eat a healthy diet and I'm overall a health freak lol.

A place you can look for information on medications and their safety during pregnancy is www.safefetus.com. It lists the pregnancy category of each medication and what effects it can have on the fetus.

Thanks to everyone who responded! I think I will go with both Geritol and Baby Aspirin and not do the guaifenesin.
