Hi Everyone,

I have had two previous miscarriages in the past..I am now 7w 4d pregnant today. I went in around 6 1/2 weeks and we were able to find a heartbeat. The U/S tech was a little concerned that the Gestational Sac was measuring smaller than the fetus. Just a few days behind. She told me to drink plenty of water and that it could help. Just a few days after my ultrasound I woke up and went to the bathroom and wiped and saw some RED blood. I called my doctor immediately and she just told me to take it easy and If it were to get worse to call back. Well, the weekend came and It did get worse. I started to see blood clots maybe the size of a quarter and some stringy things. TMI sorry

Well anyway, it was the weekend and my doctors office was closed..I had a bad experience in the past with going to the emergency room so I didn’t want to waste my money or time for them not to tell me anything. I called first thing Monday morning (yesterday) And scheduled to have an ultrasound today..This day is dragging! Like I said I have miscarried before so I know what to see..This time it is very deferent..I don’t see any bleeding unless I wipe. I have not soaked a pad this whole week of bleeding and It seems as though when I over do myself (walk around) I start to see more of it on the toilet paper. So, my question is has anyone had ANY sort of related complications like this and everything turned out fine?

So confused!!!

I have a friend who had significant bleeds through both of her successful pregnancies. In fact, she actually had normal period bleeding through most of her first to the point that she was to the beginning of 2nd tri before she knew she was pregnant, as she'd had two irregular 'periods'!

I hope things turn out for the best for you *hugs*

Just got back from my ultrasound..they wernt able to find a heartbeat :( The strange thing is that the baby messured exactly where I am at today. Could having a tilted uterus make it harder to find and everything could still be okay? Still so confused. Going to wait a week to see if I pass it naturally and do another U/S just to make sure. Thanks for writting back!

Well, it is not a good sign to not find a heartbeat after previously being able to find one. My motto is always hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst case.

*hugs* My thoughts and prayers are with you this week as you wait to see what happens.

I am sorry that you have to experience bleeding, can be very scary. But I read blogs of other people with the same concerns as you and some of them got advised from their doctors to go on 2-3weeks of bed-rest. Maybe you are over exerting yourself.
