Good morning. I am scheduled to meet with a dietician tomorrow for the first time. I have picked up my supplies but don't really know what to do with them yet. I'm hoping tomorrows meeting walks me through using the meter and gives me meal ideas. I was diagnosed last Friday so I have been trying to reduce my carbs and increase my protein. I found light and fit Greek yogurt that is really good and some organic natural peanut butter that is ok.
Have other ladies had to change to a high risk OB or do your OB appointments stay the same? I feel a bit lost and unsure what to expect.
I was sent to a MFM and she diagnosed GD. I have multiple risk factors, so the regular OB sent me REALLY early (she told me she never sends anyone over that early). They did go over the meter (and also insulin for those on insulin) at the class.
