Getting baby into a routine?????

Yeah i know that babies have their own routine but then again i think you should giude it in some sort of way as babies cant tell you they want a bath. i know the routine will change as baby gets older, i dont want a strict routine but some sort of routine as when baby goes to family they wont know there cry and what they want.. i suppose every1s different but thanks x

I am "baby led" but I follow "EAESY". Eat, activity, eat, sleep, you. I know the typical one is EASY but mine likes to have a snack before his naps. I find a loose EASY/EAESY is most supportive of baby.

Here is our routine:

5:30am-wakeup, feed,play
7:30am-8:30am feed, nap
9am-10 wakeup, feed, nap in stroller (dog walk)
10am-noon- wakeup,play
noon-2pm-feed,nap,feed,wakeup
2-4pm-wakeup,feed,play,feed
4pm-6pm-nap
6pm-8pm-feed,play {bath around 7 if bath day},feed, bed
1am,4am night feeds

A lot of feeds! Loves his milk. We do everything at these exact times pretty much. He was all over the map in the beginning but eventually he found his way to these times and they've been consistent except for vaccines and growth spurts! He has a little internal clock.

I think the key word there is guide. Most of us do, we spot when baby is tired and tailor the bedtime routine to it. I think things get rough when people try to force it rather than guide it. Babies do need to fit in with the rest of the family to some point imo, it's just a case of taking the first few weeks to get to know baby and work out a routine that suits everyone in the family. As long as you're flexible, and it sounds like you intend to be, it'll fall into place.

This was the whole point in my thread 2 c what others were kinda of doing with their babies, even tho babies lead alot just some sort of idea xx thankyou
