Getting fed up of this - please help...

Hi ladies, recently my little man has been screaming blue murder when I bring him up to burp him. It doesn't matter at what stage during the bottle, it happens everytime. It doesn't matter what position I try and burp him either.

How do we break this? It is really getting me down not to mention being embarrassing when were out and I have to feed him!

I really don't think there is anything wrong with him - he is just playing up and doesnt want to be burped/have the bottle taken away from him

Please help...

really sorry as no advice but wanted to let you know your not alone, Chloe does this quite alot but we just percivere(sp?) till we get a burp the give her back the bottle.

My FIL tried burping LO mid-feed when they came up to visit when she was 4 weeks old, and it made her worse. She resented her bottle being taken away, and she screamed so much that it seemed like she took on even more air, and it was a nightmare settling her afterwards.

What bottles are you using? We found both Dr Browns or TT Anti-colic+ bottles to be very good, as they minimised the air she took on whilst feeding.

We also found a product called Windy Pops to be very helpful. It was more bottom wind that my LO had an issue with, but it supposedly helps with top wind too.

Thanks ladies, I tried waiting till the end on his last feed and he was good as gold been a little unsettled since but brought another burp up a little later. Seems like the way to go

Sorry forgot to answer about bottles - were using avent. Didn't get on with dr brown as I couldn't deal with them leaking!!

My LO is exactly the same, i let him feed to the very end and he still screams. but i just carry on and the burps come up with him protesting, then he calms down.
before he was fine could stop 2/3 times through a feed and wind him, dont know what went wrong?? he just seems very hungry now.
