Getting harder!

It is getting so hard for me to wait lately! Whenever I think about having a baby I get so excited and don't want to wait anymore but i know i have to! Anyone else finding it more difficult especially because everyone (even people in worst situations than me) seem to be getting pregnant! Making me sooooo impatient, anyone else?

I know the feeling But for me it is literally not possible. OH had a vasectomy and I am doing everything in my power to get him to reverse!

Definately know how you feel. Especially since everyone, I mean everyone, seems to be getting pregnant lately. It makes me sad that I'm trying to do the right thing and wait to have a baby when people who don't even have their lives together have babies and are happy but have to depend on everyone else. I don't want to depend on anyone else. But I'm the one who really wants to have a child and could show him or her more love than anything. I don't know... Sometimes it gets frustrating WTT but at least we'll be proud in the future.

I know exactly what you're speaking of! It seems as if everyone, even those in awful situations, are getting pregnant; and here we all sit, waiting!

YES!! I very impatient! We are ready now...just waiting for my referral to a high-risk clinic for preconception appointment. And yes, everyone seems pregnant - and I totally agree about those who need to depend on others. I take family planning so seriously and it seems like some people take longer deciding and planning about what car to buy than having a baby.

I definately know what you mean. We are waiting to buy our house but that will be sorted by next month so im thinking- why wait?! but really we do need to do afew big things with the house and also get a newer car and also we have a holiday booked in march so i wouldnt want to be past that 1st trimester while on holiday ideally.

I too am feeling OHSOBROODY right now. I don't want to wait one bit, but I know it's for the best until we're more settled as a couple. Its awful though isnt it? :'(

It just kinda pisses me off! I'm being sensible and waiting until:
1.We have either a rented or bought 2 bedroom
2.Until i finish my final year of college and get a job.
3.until OH finishes his course this year and gets another job.
4.until we have money saved. (£500-£1000)
5.Until we are married.
So we are MAKING SURE we are physically ready for a baby (we are already emotionally ready) yet there is a 16 year old who is on my facebook who got pregnant on purpose and she now has a beautiful son but her parents pay for him. She also goes out "on the peeve" every weekend when she isn't even 18 ... I don't even go out every weekend!! I'm too busy trying to cross things off on my list, e.g. college and learning to drive!!
I need to rant because i keep getting this bubbly feeling kind of brewing in my chest whenever i think about us trying which makes it sooo hard to wait and when i see girls like this it makes me so mad, kind of jealous because they have a baby now but at the same time i'm happy we are waiting because I will be able to give my child everything she/he needs by ourself and we wont need to rely on everyone else like they do .. because if you rely on everyone else for childcare, housing, food etc they will have a say in how you raise your child and it is difficult enough when you and your OH will have different opinions about things like punishment etc without the input of the grandparents, aunts and great grandparents opinions too iyswim?
Sorry just needed to rant a bit!!! Broodyness is making me moooody!!

Totally in the same boat really, I'm waiting until at least 2013 at earliest to even consider trying... and its annoying the hell out of me! I see girls everywhere that barely have a clue and churn out babies before they're 18 (not that theres anything wrong with that, its just they constantly dump the child on the grandparents, like you said), and it winds me up, not entirely 100% sure why. Blah.

Its very frustrting to see people on FB that have babies when you know they are living off......... well ME!
Were ticking things off too:
1. House deposit (essentially before ttc)
2. Upgrade car (essentially before ttc)
3. Nest egg for baby (semi-essential before ttc)
4. new wardrobe
5. Dishwasher- i know the dishes wont get hand washed if a LO is here

Both 4 and 5 can come whenever really as long as its before baby is born. Number 3 isnt too bad if we dont have a pot but would be nice and less pressure if we did. But we earn good money so not too worried.

Another 2 people on FB announced they are pregnant this week- fair play they can support a child very easily but doesnt help my broodiness!

now im the odd one out lol i dont mind waiting yeh i get broody when i see babies but i got other things to be excitied about(moving in together in nov, first holiday abroad together and getting married ) plus i know waiting is the best for us,
tho i wouldnt mind 2015 being next year as were trying straight after we r married

Ah, tell me about it.. Last week I've heard the worst fb announcement of a girl my age from my home town.. Not only was she pregnant but she picked the name I wanted for MY BABY! I almost written her "pick something else, this name is taken!" But now I have to choose another name grrrrr!

Yep yep, but it gets weirder cuz it's not a common name - Enzo! And she's not even italian or anything.. I'll have to convince OH to consider Luigi again!
