getting induced a week tomorrow!

I went for a scan today and they decided it would be best to induce me at 38 weeks (a weeks tomorrow)

The reasons for this are;
Baby hasn't grown 'enough' ( he was 5lb 5oz at 34weeks and 6lb 8oz at 37 weeks both est)

There's a bit too much water

We had a cystic hygroma spotted at 12 weeks but our cvs test came back clear

We had steroids at 33weeks as we lost what we thought was plug and had some tightenings.

So given all the above they decided it was better to be safe than sorry.

So I should get to see my baby in just over a week

Any positive induction storys would be much appreciated x

I bet you're so excited! Id hoping for a natural labour but i would love to have an end date lol.
I was induced with my daughter at 39 weeks and it was fantastic.
I was given propess at 7am. By lunch time i was having painless contractions every 6 minutes so i asked to be checked as oh works an hour away. I was 4cm and moved to delivery.
At 2pm i had my waters broken and at 4pm i was started on the drip.
By 8.30 the pain was getting a bit much so i started on the gas and air. I was checked again and had a little cry when i was told i was 5cm. I couldn't believe all those hours had passed and i had only progressed 1cm.
By 9pm though the feeling changed and i said i needed to push. I was told not to as i wasn't ready. I kept insisting so the midwife checked me again, i was now 10cm and ready to push.
After just a few pushes olivia was born at 9.28

i had been worried about being induced but it was a fantastic experience, i couldn't of asked for it to be any better x
