So I rang up the sexual health clinic to see about getting my Mirena coil out and I'm going to see them next Friday :) bit earlier than expected but my hormones at all over the place lately as it's coming to the end of its 5 year cycle so we have decided that we will just NTNP and see what happens!

Half excited and half nervous at the same time! My daughter is 5 and a half now, she'd loved to be a big sister but I'm nervous about having a baby again haha!

Plus I'm going to have to cut down drastically on my caffeine intake 😳

Hoping it doesn't hurt as much getting the coil out as it did getting the thing put in...

I got mine taken out in January and it didn't hurt much at all. Just a quick tug, then my uterus cramped up for about 10 seconds and then it was fine. Good luck!

I'm getting mine out on Tuesday, I'm nervous! I didn't find getting it put in too bad (although it was only 2 months after having a baby so probably nice and easy to go in!) so I'm hoping I don't find getting it out too bad!

Just thought I'd update, had my coil taken out this morning, didn't hurt in the slightest for anyone worried 😊 Niggling cramps now and bleeding a bit but otherwise all seems ok. Guess we're officially NTNP now!! 😊
